In this project, which I called 'to get closer', i am curious about how to reflect our feeling through the concrete objects. In order to reflect the closer relationship, I consider about the sensory of touching and watching to design. To explore my work, i link with the word 'connect'. I use the form of hook to describe directly connection; and also inspire form traditional wood joint to explore non-physical connection.

using simple form with deeper meaning in my design is one of my opinion. I start with collecting different existent connecting materials. And then I choose a group of hooks to support my idea. Functional or not, is another line in my process. Therefore, to fill in negative space on visual sensory as a regular form by simple wood structure is my another idea.

I like to use simple form to describe the abstract element in my design. For me, my design is a type of object, which can reflect people's emotion with a concrete form.
