ABOUT ME
At the beginning of studying contemporary jewellery, I am interested in exploring the different surface and texture in various materials. Therefore, I deeply research the usage of mixed materials and combine with difference surface and texture. For example, I made the structure of leaves to represent of autumn. The resin and metal castle is aim to explain the relationship between light and shadow and reflect the sensory of lonely about the historical architecture. And the paper necklace suggests the beauty of smoking. At last, the ceramic piece of different texture explores different types of water.
After that, I realise everything has their relationship from physical and psychology level, and all of the relationships for me is define as the word 'connection'. Therefore, finding the relationship is my first step. to create a link is my second idea on 'connection' jewellery . I fill in the gaps through different materials and explain what the various visual will be. At last, I realize visual design could describe people's relationship or emotion. Therefore, with the development research, I reflect critically the closer relationship with the sensory of touching and watching.
This time, I develop more relationship between visual sensory and the sense of touch. I think that visual means watching, touching means texture. Therefore, I got my initial idea from looking at the streetlights and the windows at rainy night. And then, I explore more on texture and reflect the blurriness through my jewellery piece.
